Every Garden(er)
has a Story
a little dirt... soil.. about me
When I was a young, green sapling, naturally, I helped in the kitchen & flower gardens with my grandmother who was employed by Lady Joan Roberts (the second wife of Sir Charles.G.D Roberts) who took care of cats, dogs and horses on a rural farm in Campbellville,Ontario.
She instilled in me a life-long Curiosity and Respect for All Living Creatures Big and Small, even the ones I could not see.
Fast forward 40 yrs..after living in different neighbourhoods of Toronto and being involved in various industries,in 2012 I found myself living in a cozy house near the Humber River with my own front and backyard where I re-discovered my roots and love for All things Nature.
In August 2024 I took the opportunity to move west to Qualicum Beach B.C to learn more about the flora and fauna of the area til March 2025 while The Toronto business still operated with a skilled, trusted, small crew of gardeners in place.
While I was on VI I was on the board of the Qualicum Beach Garden Club booking speakers for the 2025 season while simultaneously booking speakers for the Roselands Horticultural Society, in Toronto.
I am now back in the East end of Toronto... living, working, playing and eating! and of course...now a member of the Riverdale Horticultural Society.

FEEL GOOD! Gardening has been serving the 3B's since 2017, and I am very grateful to continue having opportunities to apply and exercise my stewardship in community spaces and in each one of my client's gardens.

I Love Trees. I still ask myself *What Kind of Tree Will I Grow Up to Be?*
...And then there are Mushroom's! - aka FANTASTIC FUNGI
The COMMON SUNFLOWER (Helianthus annuus) will always be my favorite flower.

I like to prune and weed by hand , observe the insects and birds
while in the garden in my barefeet and pajama's
and sometimes
at night by the light of the moon.

but no need to worry --I only do that in my own garden.
I am also experimenting with Bokashi Composting and incorporating vegetables and herbs into my pollinator oasis garden.
Everything about Gardening FEELS GOOD!
Cheers to Seeds sown, Roots grown and Fruitful intentions.
